HOLY WEEK

WEDENSDAY March 31 Vespers at 7:00 followed by The Divine Liturgy

During this service we will bless The Oil of the Sick and The Oil of the Catechumen. We will also be anointing with oil each person for healing and blessing of health.

THE TRIDUUM SACRUM

MAUNDAY THURSDAY April 1Vespers at 7:00 followed by The Divine Liturgy a light supper following. A Tenebrae service will follow after supper

There will be a foot washing ceremony that involves the sacred ministers who will represent the whole community. The Blessed Sacrament will be transferred to the Altar of Repose and the main Altar will be stripped in preparation for Good Friday.

 

GOOD FRIDAY April 2, (Strict Fast on this day) Beginning at 7:00 Liturgy with the Passion according to Saint John, Veneration of the Holy Cross and The Mass of the Presanctified Gifts.

 

HOLY SATURDAY / PASCHAL VIGIL April 3

Beginning at 10:00 p.m. there will be the Blessing of the New Fire and Paschal Candle, Litany of the Saints, Renewal of Baptismal Vows, Holy Chrismations, and First Holy Mass and Lauds of Easter. There will be a Feast following the Liturgy.
